RADIANT TECHNOLOGY SEEKS LEAD INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN(S) IN COLUMBUS OHIO
The Lead Technician is an experienced Audio Video installation/integration technician that has; a passion for technology install and own a project from start to finish. The role requires minimum of three (3) years of audio video installation experience, AV project flow knowledge, understanding of CAD diagrams, rack-systems, wiring and solder termination skills, along with an understanding of the AV product and service industry.
Have and maintain technical skills to install system integration systems and lead a project to smooth completion.
Proactive project preparation and inventory all equipment/materials and resources to coordinate a successful project installation.
Verify drawings, programming code, site-photos, and project files are complete.
Ensure that all equipment is connected per the drawings.
Verify working times and access to the workspace.
Ensure the equipment is programmed, configured and tested prior to onsite installation.
Completion of basic CTS Certification or verified similar certification.
Experience with control systems and audio DSP’s.
Experience with IP networking.
Set up, connect and verify operation of various VTC units.
Use of power tools, climbing ladders, utilizing lifts, and working on construction sites is part of this job.
Superior knowledge of equipment mounting, building construction and building codes.
Coordinate with Scheduling Coordinator, Account Coordinator, Sales and System Builder to ensure scheduling consistency throughout the project timeline.
Test installed systems and work through punch list to complete working installation.
Complete minimum of OSHA 30-hour class or any safety training as required by customer.
Experience with interactive displays, hanging display panels and video walls a plus.
Act as a leader, mentor and coach to Technicians.

This position requires 25%-75% travel to various job sites in and outside the home office location at various hours, days, and times.
