Ideal Systems is looking for a suitably experienced AV Sales Director. Our desired candidate is creative, strategic, assertive, determined, and independent. Although someone with Audio-Visual background is preferred, this position would suit someone with an IT technology, telecommunications or office/building automation background and a willingness to become familiar with AV systems.
The role is to head up AV sales and sales strategies for Hong Kong, and the APAC region. The successful candidate will identify Hong Kong and APAC regional opportunities, collaborate with the engineering and sales teams to provide solutions, and close the business. Equally important roles will be devising AV sales and business development strategies, creating sales systems and coordinating AV sales across all APAC offices.
Provide sales and after-sales service to customers
Develop and explore new business locally and region wide
Develop and implement sales and business development strategies
Qualify, score, and prioritize opportunities to efficiently scale and allocate resources
Build sustainable relationships with important corporate entities with regional APAC-wide interests
Develop systems coordinating sales efforts across all APAC offices
Prepare quotations, project pipelines, sales reports, and all relevant documents for Management Review
Coordinate with design engineers to create price quotations and tender responses that are complete, accurate, and profitable.
Create and implement business development tools such as webinars, seminars, informational and trade show events and email campaigns to increase sales and brand awareness. Innovate and create new business development tools and processes.

Rolodex of C-level Enterprise technology based contacts, preferred
Self-motivated with a proven record of accomplishment in sales
Competence in developing presentations and confident presenting at the Director, VP and C-level.
Comfortable with interacting with employees, clients, and colleagues and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
High technical aptitude and technical familiarity in AV, IT, telecommunications, or electronics.
Strong computer skills, including a familiarity with the Microsoft Platform
CRM system familiarity and usage is an advantage.
InfoComm International CTS certification highly recommended.
IT, networking, manufacturer or similar certifications are an advantage
University four-year degree preferred.
Minimum 6 years’ experience in AV, IT, Telco or Broadcast sales and business development
Must possess valid passport and be comfortable with international travel.
