CCS California is looking for an AV engineer to lead our design and engineering efforts in our San Jose office. Responsibilities include:
Assisting with job-walks and needs assessments;
Designing systems and creating equipment lists that meet client needs and budgets;
Creating drawings for use by architects, clients, and field installation teams;
Assisting with trouble-shooting and commissioning of system installations; and
Preparing end-user documentation, as required.
The candidate should have experience with a variety of AV system designs and be comfortable creating and converting working designs to drawings (AutoCAD lite preferred). The successful Sales/Project Engineer will have:
Superior knowledge of AV systems;
Good people skills;
An ability to consistently meet deadlines and productivity expectations;
Good working knowledge of networking is also a must; and
An Engineering degree, a CTS-D, and/or a DMC-D certification is preferred, but not absolutely necessary. Other relevant certifications are also helpful.
Employer will assist with relocation costs.
