This is a mid-level warehouse/shop tech position in an AV Systems Integrator warehouse. Prior AV system knowledge and experience is a requirement. You will be in a team, hands on in configuration and testing of computers, switchers, mixers, digital signage systems and show control systems. We are very involved in our projects and work closely with our clients and fellow vendors on every project with a superior level of customer service and attention. •Must be Windows and Mac computer capable (update software, remove and backup old content, reset networking configuration, reseat video cards/ram) •Existing procedures are in place and a high level of quality and service is expected. •Daily tasks would include: QC’ing computers (running updates, clearing old content, resetting network settings, operating off of a checklist) QC’ing displays (operating off of a checklist, testing inputs, resetting settings), Pulling and testing equipment off of a job pull sheet and system drawing Troubleshooting configured systems Document equipment failures Maintain inventory of consumables Testing equipment returning to the warehouse and returning to inventory Calibrate displays to a baseline level Maintaining warehouse cleanliness (take out trash, put away equipment, maintain order of inbound and outbound equipment) Communicate with job handlers throughout prep period and while they are onsite/ installing equipment •Occasional deliveries in a ~50 mile radius in our cargo van or 15' box truck requires a clean driving record. •This is a position with steady hours, occasional overtime in rush seasons, little or no travel. •Occasional (minimal) rush jobs to be pulled and tested. •Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment (will be certified by company instructor)
