Seeking an experienced A/V professional to work with a wide variety of clients to recommend solutions to technical problems. The applicant must have a solid understanding of AV technology (audio, lighting, video, data/telecom) and how it relates to achieving a set objective for our customers. The Sales Manager will work to consistently exceed customer expectations and leverage existing equipment and resources to achieve a desired vision/goal. They will communicate effectively with the A/V operations team to plan/manage the customer experience and produce successful outcomes with repeat business. The applicant must have strong communication and organizational skills.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Primary point of contact between customer and technical staff.
Communicate/coordinate with our operations team and other departments to build mutually beneficial relationships, team work, and precise communication.
Create proposals that include diagrams, schematics and pricing recommendations.
Provide instructions and work orders for operations team, both in written documentation and production meetings.
Utilize creative and thoughtful problem solving during preplanning and execution.
Use independent decision making to satisfy customer needs.
Participate in management meetings and provide input in department operation.
Financial Forecasting/Projections (proficient in Microsoft Office and industry standard database management systems).
Maintain relationships with assigned customers and vendors to encourage repeat business.
Benchmark similar operations and make recommendations as it relates to our business.

·College degree highly desirable
·Minimum 2 years of sales experience managing a diverse operation in the Audio Visual industry
·Familiarity with AV or other electro – mechanical systems a plus
·Extensive experience developing and implementing business processes and streamlining operations
·Experience in business/strategic planning and execution, including diligence, acquisition and integration a plus
