We are seeking a talented sales professional who is passionate about our business to increase our sales revenue and service new and existing clients. The position is responsible for creating and building client relationships while cultivating professional relationships with colleagues. This role assists in developing and facilitating the proposal process for specific clients including budget and pricing development, proposal writing, contract negotiations and client presentations.
Responsibilities: The primary areas of responsibility are Business Development, Account Management, and Sales Strategy & Execution
Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing or Business Administration or equivalent number of years of experience
Minimum of 3 years experience in the Audio Visual Rental and Staging industry
Must be well organized, strongly self-disciplined, multi-task oriented, and characterize outstanding leadership skills
Must have advanced understanding of audio, visual, lighting and computer equipment, and their applications
Competency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and other computer platforms
Continue to optimize and maximize the opportunities at existing clients. Expand sales within existing clients, identify prospects, qualify opportunities, and follow up on leads.
Fill and expand the sales pipeline
Promoting excellent customer service in every action taken and every word spoken
Exceed customer needs by applying a solutions based approach that utilizes the full strength of Michael Andrews.
Meeting with clients on site surveys
Working with the production and technical staff in the planning and execution of events
Develop the narrative that ties the project components together and package and assist in presenting the proposal to the clients.
Communicate back to internal groups the outcome of the negotiations/proposals focusing on conveying the expectations set forth for each group, i.e. clear details, critical timeframes and expectations.
Collaborate with the Project Management team to evaluate project performance and to recommend refinements and improvements of all components of proposals.
Meet with clients, producers, and meeting planners in order to delineate the purpose and details of corporate and live events; designing the technology elements of each event and negotiating the proposal with clients from inquiry to full event execution.
Coordinate and distribute event proposals, producing high quality, detailed proposals to multiple clients; providing equal attention to a multitude of projects at the same time.
Seek out new revenue channels and contribute to new event service offerings through outgoing sales processes such as researching nearby venues, reaching out to potential clients, and keeping up to date with current interactive technologies.
Coordinate with the operations department and technical director in order to ensure the successful run of events.
Represents Michael Andrews as a premier provider of Staging services.
Coordinates all internal activities to ensure each promise is kept, and every experience drives the highest level of client satisfaction
Hold formal quarterly business reviews with each Major Account to determine level of satisfaction, assess our competitive position, and identify events to be pursued.
Maintain a superior understanding of the technologies we work with and the services we provide our clients in order to communicate them clearly
Create proposals and budgets that have a high probability of success while maintaining appropriate margins.
Work in harmony with all members of the Michael Andrews team and enable them to be successful in their role.

Must possess professional presentation skills with firm understanding of pitch presentations for corporate client events.
Ability to negotiate contracts and execute events with clients and vendors
