Elevate Audio Visual is seeking a Lead Installation Technician/Crew Chief for AV, Sound, and Lighting projects across nationwide. A qualified candidate should be able to perform standard installation tasks, as well as act as an onsite project coordinator to interface with customer and other tradesmen.
Standard installation tasks, including but not limited to: pulling cable, termination of standard AV connectors (XLR, RJ45, DB9, BNC, etc), mounting/hanging equipment (displays, speakers, etc)
Read and interpret construction drawings and AV schematic diagrams
Basic testing and troubleshooting to ensure job completion and readiness for commissioning
Our projects take place nationwide, occasionally internationally as well so travel is necessary and to be expected. Many of the projects will be large houses of worship, performing arts centers, or sports venues, so experience with those types of projects is preferred.
3-5 years experience in Commercial AV/Pro Audio installation
Ability to travel for a minimum of 2 weeks per trip, must possess valid US passport or able to obtain
Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
Ability to understand standard construction and AV drawings
Ability to work at height - lifts, ladders, and working from catwalks are typical
